Terms of use

Scope, limitations, and the ‘not legal advice’ notice for the theseeus.eu explainer.

Not legal advice

theseeus.eu is an educational map of European cybersecurity legislation. Nothing on the site — including the Situation desk tools, country tables, timelines and summaries — is legal advice, a legal opinion, or a determination of whether an organisation is in scope of any instrument.

Binding texts are those published in the Official Journal of the European Union and in national gazettes. Competent authorities decide how the law applies in fact. Always verify against those sources and take professional advice where you need it.

Scope

You may use the site to orient yourself in the EU cybersecurity rulebook. Summaries simplify. Status fields (especially national transposition) go stale. Passages marked ⚠️ VERIFY are unconfirmed and must not be treated as settled fact.

No warranty

The site is provided as-is, without warranty of completeness, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for decisions taken in reliance on this explainer.

Your use

  • Do not present pages from this site as official EU or national guidance.
  • Do not scrape in a way that degrades the service for others.
  • Reuse of commentary and datasets is covered on the licence page.

Changes

These terms may change when the service changes. The “last reviewed” date at the top of this page is the version marker.
